Lee attended Penn State University for both undergraduate and graduate school earning her degree in Health Education and Athletic Training. From Penn State Lee took a position with the US Olympic Committee working in their Sports Medicine division at the US Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY. She then signed on with the US Luge Association as their Head Athletic Trainer traveling throughout Europe and North America with the World Cup team. Lee then moved to Davenport, Iowa to help develop the Rehabilitation and Sports Injury department at Palmer College of Chiropractic. At Palmer, she also served as Head Athletic Trainer for the athletic department, developed and ran the college’s Sports Council, taught rehabilitation and sports medicine courses in both the undergraduate and chiropractic curricula and was a lead instructor in the post-doctoral programs of Sports Chiropractic and Chiropractic Rehabilitation. Upon graduating from Palmer in 2001, she moved to Vermont to open Performance Chiropractic with her husband, Kerry. Currently, Lee serves as team physician for Vermont Lumberjacks junior hockey and continues to provide athletic training services for Burlington Men’s Rugby.
She is also as an Approved Clinical Instructor for UVM’s Athletic Training Education Program, hosting 3rd and 4th year students at the clinic to expand and enhance their experiential and clinical education. In addition to extensive interest and background in sports medicine, Lee takes a special interest in working closely with patients to improve their overall health through lifestyle transformation. She also works with a local veterinarian to provide spinal manipulation for small animals!
